Çumitaş Accelerates Its Digital Transformation with IFS Cloud

Çukurova Makina İmalat ve Tic. A.Ş. (Çumitaş)—part of Çukurova Holding—has decided, under Egeria’s leadership, to continue its IFS ERP journey (which began in 2013) by upgrading to IFS Cloud.

Through this upgrade project, Çumitaş aims to leverage IFS Cloud’s advanced technologies—artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and industry‑specific enhancements—to accelerate its digital transformation.

Founded in 1968, Çumitaş has built a reputation for innovation and development, achieving remarkable sales across more than 50 countries, and more recently establishing itself in the defense sector. Recognizing the influx of new technologies into manufacturing and the additional capabilities of IFS Cloud, Çumitaş elected to upgrade its 2013 ERP implementation.

With an eye on the next decade, Çumitaş leadership believes that AI and ML will profoundly impact their workflows—boosting efficiency and securing sustainable competitive advantage. The upgrade, led by Egeria, is scheduled to go live on IFS Cloud’s newest version—including dealer portals—by the end of 2024.
